I thought I would never forget this stage of life raising my kids.  Boy was I wrong!  I can’t even remember last week!  So I have taken to writing random things down for my own sake. I know this stage of life is short and passes quickly.  It’s busy and crazy, it’s exhausting and frustrating…but it’s full of firsts, laughs, loves, and unexpected surprises.I I hope this journal will help me to remember those times.

 

My husband and I have been married since 1999 and have 4 kids.  I am homeschooling and working on the side as a photographer.  Please do not judge this blog as a reflection of my photography for most of what I post here I took with my iPhone like most busy moms.  If you want to see some actual photography that I have taken for clients visit http://www.katiemoos.com.

 

I love eating out.  I love cheesecake and dark chocolate, dr. pepper, and chocolate tea.  I love game nights with friends.  I enjoy hiking and rollercoasters, camping, and hanging out at Disneyland.

 

I wish my family lived closer.  Most live in Minnesota. I love the CA sunshine and the fact that we have no flying, biting, or terribly annoying bugs.

 

My husband is a hard working man that takes wonderful care of us.  He works just 5 minutes away for which I will forever be grateful for.  My heart goes out to the mothers who do not get their spouses till 7pm or worse the military families who go months on end without their loved one.  You guys blow my mind!!!
